Does animal print ever go out of style? You can't go wrong with having a classic leopard print shirt, snake print boots or why not change it up with a zebra print dress as a staple in your wardrobe for every season...and who's complaining!

Having a trend that we can all rely on season on season is a real saviour, especially if you're caught off guard and need to be suitably on trend for that work or social event.

Although animal print is not subtle like a white tee, it is just as much of a staple and is worth investing in an item (or two). This season we're seeing a lot of bright and clashing prints like this striking Ganni leopard print dress and these neon green Zara snake print heels (which could stop a croc in its tracks).

Don't be scared...you really don't have to go for the super bold colourful prints...take it back to teh basics wear a leopard print shirt (Zara always has a good selection) with your go-to jeans. Or try an animal print slip skirt (H&M has some great ones at the moment) with a plain T or sweatshirt.

Whilst I have no problem in dressing head to toe in various prints i understand that it may not be for everyone, (I will admit I have some off days), so accessories are a great way to include your fave animal print and these Topshop yellow python ankle boots are the ones! If you're a bag person (rasing my hand) this orange &OtherStories croc bag will be your best friend from this season on.

A TRENCH IS ALL YOU NEED

For me, the trench is definitely the coat of the season and was the fashionistas' favourite at New York and London fashion week.

It's the perfect coat for all seasons for the variable weather that we will inevitably be experiencing in the UK over the next couple of months through spring, and dare I say, into summer. (let's hope not)

Whether you're looking for a trench with big pockets, a statement belt, wide lapels, or maybe just after that perfect shade of khaki you're covered with what's in store this season.

You can't go wrong with the classic sand, tan, or camel shades when it comes to the 'trench coat' but if you're not feeling the classic vibe then why not go for a leather or vinyl trench like this patent faux leather Osman trench. Not feeling that brave? then step away from the classic shades and go for a deep rust colour like this Acne Studios wonder or if you're never without a check then add this SEA checked trench to your wardrobe.

The ultimate trench for me this season is this yellowy, golden Rejina Pyo mac that has big statement pockets with a cinched-in belt.

My high street fave has to be this sage green &OtherStories trench; a great colour if the classic beige shades aren't your thing.

ALL THE SHADES OF BEIGE

Light greys, muted nudes and dusted taupes right through to the warming caramel shades are what I'm going to be wearing head to toe this season. Who knew there were so many shades of beige to choose from... but who said anything about choosing?

For a smarter look, to the office maybe, wear a matching suit with a contrasting t-shirt underneath and I'd pair it with some heels like these Zara beauties (which are a perfect dupe for the 'The Row' sandals).

Going for the utlilty look like Max Mara has with their belted trench with big statement pockects then try a belted midi dress like this H&M gem with some slouchy knee high boots. A match made in heaven.

If you want to embrace 'all the beiges' like Alberta Ferretti then layers are the key here. Pair together your favourite shades and layer up those silks, cottons, leathers and knits. You'll be like a neutrals 'Liquorice allsort'.
