November 04, 2018
Trainers are a stable in my wardrobe what ever the season. I'm so excited this is a continueing trend this season as who can complain about fashion and comfort. Not me!
Versace | Balenciaga | Stella McCartney | Stella McCartney | Acne Studios | Alexanda McQueen | Isabel Marant
CHUNKY TRAINERS
Whether you know them as 'Chunky' trainers, 90s sneakers
or the 'Dad' trainer this style is back in and it seems
like the chunkier the better.
There's more than one style of Chunky trainer to fit
everyone's liking. If you're looking for something
simple these all white Claudie Pierlot are to die for
and you can't go wrong with these Acne Studio
trainers with red piping detail either.
Of course if subtle is not your thing then these Guccis
are the perfect addition of bling to add to your
Autumn wardrobe.
Wearing chunky style trainers with a midi skirt (this
Ganni skirt is on my list) is my go to for a day to day
outfit when styling these trainer. It's a symbiotic pairing as
the skirt dresses up the trainers while the trainers
dress down the skirt.
SPORTY TRAINERS
If like me you thought your tennis days were
over these sporty trainers will certainly change your mind.
With my favourites being these retro style Balenciagas which are the ultimate hybrid of the chunky and sporty style trainer closely followed by the coloured green and purple Isabel Marants and of course the mustard Stella McCartneys.
With these super causal sporty style trainers a structured trench coat is a the perfect way to 'chic in' up your outfit and will definitely take you off the court.
SILVER SNEAKERS
While the white trainer is a classic for me it's all about the silver sneakers and they are the one trainer that I can't live without in my shoe collection.
They're so versatile and go with everything just like the white trainer but hello! they're silver which is that bit more exciting.
I love wearing silver sneakers with a monochrome outfit as it makes them really stand out.
PLIMSOLE TRAINERS
While these aren't the most standout or statement
trainers this style of shoe is my most worn.
gives them that touch of effortless Scandinavian style.
With a slight platform on the Sandro and McQueens this detail
makes them standout and the Common Projects do this with the contrast colour of the rubber sole.

Get that 'Off Duty' look by wearing theses trainers with a bold trouser, a relaxed sweatshirt and a structured blazer.
